Functional Alloys and Forming Technology Research Team


The research team undertakes 8 projects of National Natural Science Foundation of China, 6 provincial and ministerial projects, and 10 other horizontal scientific research projects. The main research fields are involved: (1) Lightweight design and failure mechanism of nano metal materials; (2) Design and development of functional alloy materials, including gradient structure, multi-scale structure, grain boundary engineering, nano precipitation and other multi-level and multi-scale structure design; (3) Surface treatment technology, such as electric spark strengthening, surface nanocrystallization, electrodeposition technology, low-temperature rolling and other surface treatment methods to improve the corrosion, friction, fatigue and biological performances of alloy materials; (4) Intelligent forming technology, using intelligent experimental data platform for forming equipment, intelligent mold, precision workpiece manufacturing.
