To further strengthen college students' awareness of legal and disciplinary regulations, foster a positive academic atmosphere, and build a harmonious campus environment, the College of Materials and Chemistry recently held grade-specific legal and disciplinary education case meetings for all students. These sessions aimed to guide students in strictly complying with laws, regulations, and school rules through the analysis of real cases, while helping them establish correct outlooks on life, worldviews, and values.
During the meetings, counselors for each grade employed a "case-based disciplinary education" approach to facilitate in-depth discussions and reflections. They not only elaborated on the background, processes, and lessons of each case but also emphasized the importance of abiding by legal and institutional requirements, urging students to "maintain vigilance in mindset, exercise caution in speech, and practice restraint in behavior."
Students unanimously acknowledged that these cases served as a mirror, reflecting potential legal/disciplinary oversights and self-discipline deficiencies in their daily lives. They pledged to use these meetings as an opportunity to enhance their understanding of legal norms, improve self-regulation awareness, and commit to being law-abiding citizens who uphold self-discipline and self-improvement.
Looking ahead, the College will continue to intensify legal and disciplinary education through various initiatives, guiding students to develop proper awareness while contributing to a harmonious and stable campus environment. Concurrently, the institution will reinforce academic atmosphere development to create optimal learning conditions that provide robust support for students' holistic growth.
