On 30th May 2024, Zhao Ning, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Committee of Shanghai Institute of Technology (SIT), led a team led by Li Guisheng, Dean of the School of Materials and Chemistry of SIT, Li Shengjuan, Vice Dean of the School of Materials and Chemistry of SIT, Fan Jinchen, Director of the Discipline Office, Yuan Tao, Associate Director of the Department of Materials for Energy and the Environment, Ma Fengcang, Professor of the Department of E&E Materials and Forming, and He Meifeng, Associate Professor of the Department of E&E Materials and Forming, and their team went to Shanghai Zhenhua Heavy Industry (Group) Co. Ltd. Changxing Branch for an exchange visit. The reception party of ZPMC Changxing Branch was Yan Feng, Deputy Secretary of Party Committee, Secretary of Discipline Inspection Committee and Chairman of Labour Union, Xu Jianzhong, Deputy General Manager, Zhou Jinghua, Manager of Human Resource Department (Organisation Department of Party Committee), and Wang Zhili, Manager of Process Digitization Department, and other leaders warmly received them, and the two sides reached an in-depth exchange and consensus on the cooperation between the university and the enterprise.

This exchange visit not only deepened the understanding and trust between the two sides in cooperation, but also laid a solid foundation for the in-depth development of future school-enterprise co-operation, and jointly created a new chapter of school-enterprise co-operation. During this visit, the two sides identified specific plans and measures for further cooperation, including the establishment of a closer school-enterprise cooperation mechanism, joint technological innovation projects, and the strengthening of talent training exchanges, which paved the way for future cooperation.
