At the beginning of the New Year and the first day of the school staff, at 10:00 am on February 23, 2024, Zhou Tao, the secretary of the college, and Miao Yuqing, the vice president of the college, led eleven teachers of the laboratory center, and carried out safety and hygiene inspections of all the laboratories of the college in the Materials Building, Science Laboratory Building, the Old Library, the Mechanical Building, and the Advanced Manufacturing Building of the College of Materials and Chemistry, in three teams.

During the inspection, it was found that all the laboratories were open, teachers and students were busy and carrying out experiments in an orderly manner, and most of the laboratories were in good safety and hygiene condition, and no obvious safety hidden danger was found. The leaders of the college asked the teachers in charge of the safety of each laboratory to take precautions, make strict requirements and strengthen the safety management, so as to escort the smooth progress of the scientific research and teaching of the college of Material Chemistry.
