From October 28th to 29th, the 2nd China Postgraduate "Double Carbon" Innovation and Creativity Competition was held in Northeast Forestry University under the guidance of the Department of Degree Management and Postgraduate Education of the Ministry of Education, and co-sponsored by the Chinese Society for Degree and Postgraduate Education and the Youth Science and Technology Center of China Association for Science and Technology. This year's competition was organized by the Graduate School and hosted by the School of Materials and Chemistry. Our postgraduate teachers and students won two second prizes and seven third prizes, of which our team won one second prize and two third prizes, the best result in history.

Since the launch of the competition, the college has given full play to the college's advantages in the related "dual-carbon" disciplines, and in accordance with the requirements of the national competition and with reference to the experience of the previous competition, the college has formulated the organization plan for the 2023 China Postgraduate Dual-Carbon Innovation and Practice Competition (School Competition), and mobilized teachers and students to participate in the competition actively, with a total of 38 teams from the college participating in the competition. The competition was organized for 38 teams from the university. In order to improve the level and experience of the participating teams, the college organized a "Competition Training Camp" and invited relevant experts to provide coaching for the participating teams. At the same time, a team of experts was hired to organize expert evaluation, assist in the selection and final coaching of the on-campus competition, and provide assistance and guidance for the entries. Shanghai Institute of Technology also won the Excellent Organization Award issued by the China Society for Degree and Graduate Education and the Youth Science and Technology Center of China Association for Science and Technology.
