On November 23, 2023, Yan Jin, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Li Shengjuan, Vice Dean of the School of Materials and Chemistry, Shanghai Institute of Technology, Mr. Zhang Kaixiang, Mr. Wu Fanjing, and Mr. Yue Xuezheng, Deputy Director of the Competition Committee of the National Student Metallographic Skills Competition (Shanghai Region), and their delegation went to Leica for a visit and exchange. The purpose of this exchange is to deepen the cooperation between the two sides in the fields of scientific research cooperation, innovation and entrepreneurship of undergraduates, employment of undergraduates and postgraduates, and to discuss how to cultivate innovative talents and promote the deep integration of industry, academia and research.

This visit laid a solid foundation for further cooperation between SUTC and Leica. Both sides expressed that they will continue to keep close contact, expand the cooperation field, deepen the connotation of cooperation between industry, academia and research, and make positive contributions to cultivate innovative talents and promote the technological progress and industrial development in related fields.
