In order to help students fully understand themselves, clarify their potential and development direction, enhance their core competitiveness, meet the needs of society and implement the national talent strategy, a career education seminar was held in the afternoon of April 7, sponsored by the Graduate Work Department of the Party Committee of the university and hosted by the School of Materials and Chemistry.

"What will you be doing two years from now? What kind of person will you be ten years from now?" Cheng Rong started the lecture with a Q&A interaction. Cheng Rong started from the core intentions of corporate recruitment, the concerns of companies when recruiting for school, and how students choose in front of opportunities, encouraging students to learn to think differently and learn to find talents and develop their comprehensive abilities from the perspective of companies. Students were encouraged to improve their professional skills while cultivating their positive and optimistic attitude, active learning ability, ability to analyze and solve problems, teamwork thinking and other soft strengths. After that, Cheng Rong took his own ten-year plan as an example to inspire everyone to determine their own goals and directions as early as possible, plan their careers scientifically, and divide their big goals into multiple small goals, then refine and specify them, and clarify the goals to be reached, the competency needs they should have and the channels to acquire them, and strive hard towards their goals and dreams.
