School of Materials and Chemistry Hosts Grade-Specific Legal and Disciplinary Case Warning Education Assemblies for University Students

Author:Views:Time:2024-12-03

To further strengthen university students' awareness of legal and disciplinary norms, foster a positive academic ethos, and build a harmonious campus environment, the School of Materials and Chemistry  recently organized grade-specific assemblies on legal and disciplinary warning education for all students. These sessions aimed to guide students in strictly adhering to laws, regulations, and university rules through the analysis of real-life cases, while helping them establish correct outlooks on life, the world, and values.

During the assemblies, grade counselors adopted a “case-based approach to discipline education” to facilitate in-depth discussions and reflections. They not only explained the background, processes, and lessons of each case but also emphasized the importance of compliance with legal and institutional standards. Students were urged to “maintain reverence in thought, exercise caution in speech, and set boundaries in action.”

Participants acknowledged that these cases served as a “mirror” to reveal potential gaps in their legal awareness and self-discipline in daily life. Many pledged to use the assemblies as an opportunity to strengthen their understanding of rules, enhance self-regulation, and commit to lawful behavior and self-improvement.

Moving forward, the School of Materials and Chemistry will continue to intensify legal and disciplinary education through diverse initiatives, guiding students to uphold proper ethical and legal principles and contribute to a harmonious, stable campus. Simultaneously, the school will further advance academic integrity and cultivate a supportive learning environment to ensure students’ holistic development.
