On April 27, 2016, under the leadership of Teacher Li Xiaoyan and Xiong Wei, the students enrolled in 2013 by the School of Materials Science and Engineering visited the 30th International Rubber and Plastics Exhibition (ChinaPlas 2016) held at Shanghai New International Expo Center.

The pavilions mainly include International Machinery Pavilion and Chemical and Raw Materials Pavilion. The students mainly visited and learned the exhibition areas including E7 Automation Science and Technology, Auxiliary Equipment and Testing Instrument Zone, E1–E5 Injection Molding Machinery, Molding and Processing Equipment etc. During the visit, the two professional teachers detailed various advanced plastic forming equipment and forming process principles for the students, and fully integrated classroom knowledge and practice. They have not only deepened the learning and consolidation of professional knowledge, greatly increased the interest in learning, but also appreciated the latest scientific and technological achievements in the world, got close to the frontier of the profession and industry and broadened the professional horizon.
