Two teachers from our school were selected into the National Tourism Administration's "10,000 Tourism Talents Program"
Recently, it was learned from the 2016 National Tourism Conference held in Haikou City, Hainan Province that Bai Yang and Ma Ji, teachers of the Tourism College of our university, declared that "Study on the Impact Assessment and Mechanism of Crisis Events on Xinjiang's Tourism Industry" and "Study on the Evaluation System of Regional Tourism Cooperation Effect Based on Fuzzy Assessment Method" won "Research Talents in 2015". Our university is also the only university unit in Xinjiang that has been selected as a research-oriented talent training project.
In order to implement the spirit of "Several Opinions of the State Council on Promoting the Reform and Development of Tourism Industry", implement the key measures of "515" strategy on the work of tourism talents, and enhance the core competitiveness of tourism talents in China, the State Tourism Administration has organized and implemented the "Ten Thousands of Tourism Talents Plan", which has been selected and funded in batches for three years since 2015. To assist more than 10,000 tourism-related professional teachers, students and top-notch backbone management personnel and high-level technical personnel of tourism enterprises to carry out relevant talent projects.
In 2015, 128 people were selected from the National Tourism Administration's "10,000 Tourism Talents Program", "Research Talents Training Project", "Innovative and Entrepreneurial Talents Training Project", "Practical Service Talents Training Project", "Practical Service Talents Training Project", "Double Teachers Training Project (Higher Vocational Education)" and 189 people were selected from the National Tourism Administration's "10,000 Tourism Talents Program". Eighty-three persons were selected for the "Double Teacher Training Project (Secondary Vocational)" and 82 for the "Master of Technical Skills Studio Project".
