National security is not only vital to the destiny of the nation but also deeply intertwined with the lives of every individual. In the digital era, personal information security has become a cornerstone of national security, while fraud prevention serves as a critical safeguard for public property safety.
Marking the 10th anniversary of National Security Education Day, the School of Materials and Chemistry invited Sun Jinquan, Deputy General Manager of the Network Information Security Department of a local telecommunications operator, to deliver a lecture titled "Personal Information Protection and Fraud Prevention" on the afternoon of April 15. The event aimed to enhance students' security awareness and strengthen the "firewall" of cybersecurity.Attendees included Xie Xihao, Director of the University Security Office; Cao Ying, Party Secretary of the School of Materials and Chemistry; Wang Yan, Deputy Director of the Security Office; Dong Xiaoliang, Deputy Party Secretary of the School; Zhang Chenqing, officer from the Political Security Section of the Security Office; as well as faculty and students from the School.

Security is the foundation of development, and development is the purpose of security. This event effectively strengthened the safety awareness and self-protection capabilities of campus members, laying a solid foundation for building a safer university. Safeguarding national security is both a state responsibility and a civic duty. Moving forward, the School will continue to integrate national security awareness and anti-fraud practices into daily life, reinforcing an impenetrable defense for national security.
