A delegation from the University Asset and Laboratory Management Office visited the College of Materials and Chemistry for a research investigation.

To further strengthen the management of university assets and equipment, optimize procurement processes, standardize testing fee standards, and enhance safety management, Zhou Tao (Director of the University Asset and Laboratory Management Office), Cao Jianwei and Fan Jinchen (Deputy Directors), along with three other representatives, conducted a special research visit to the College of Materials and Chemistry on April 8, 2025. The college leadership, including Party Secretary Cao Ying, as well as directors from the Experimental Center and relevant departments, attended the research meeting.  

At the meeting, Zhou Tao elaborated on the purpose and significance of the visit, emphasizing the need to comprehensively understand the college's practices in asset utilization, equipment procurement, and testing fees to inform the development of more scientific management policies. Cao Ying welcomed the delegation and expressed gratitude for the Asset Management Office's ongoing support. Wan Ying presented the college's current asset status, along with recommendations on instrument testing and safety infrastructure. Miao Yuqing proposed suggestions regarding procurement procedures and safety management. Representatives from the Experimental Center and departments raised concerns about lengthy approval cycles in procurement processes and advocated for greater flexibility in the university's testing center fee structure to accommodate diverse project types. They also requested fee reductions for undergraduate thesis-related testing.
