March 21, 2025 – Executive Director Zhang Zhiyong of Dijiang Group and Liu Jian, Director of the R&D Center, led a delegation to visit the School of Materials and Chemistry (SMC) for collaborative discussions. The meeting, presided over by Secretary Cao Ying, was attended by senior faculty representatives and administrators of SMC. Both parties held in-depth discussions on research collaboration, joint platform development, and technology transfer, aiming to integrate university-enterprise resources and deepen industry-academia-research synergy.

This meeting implemented the shared vision established during the university leaders’ earlier visit to Dijiang Group, marking a step forward in deepening the construction of an education-research integration ecosystem. Through the "Industry-Proposed Challenges, University-Driven Solutions" model, students are empowered to develop multidimensional competencies—transitioning from classrooms to construction sites and laboratories—embodying the educational philosophy of "grounding research in the nation’s practical needs." The event has established a robust communication platform for both parties, with broad consensus reached on research collaboration and talent development, laying a solid foundation for future in-depth cooperation.
