In order to further stimulate the enthusiasm of young teachers of our school to love and devote wholeheartedly to their work, continuously update educational concepts and master modern teaching methods, increase the whole school's teachers' awareness of improving teaching quality, our school held the activity of the 9th Young Teacher Teaching Competition on September 28, and let winners participate in the Young Teacher Teaching Competition held by the university. The director of the Teacher Development Center of the university, Tong Yuanwei, supervisors, Lin Jianzhong and Yu Min, excellent teacher Gu Zhengxian, retired teachers of the school, Lei Junxiang, Wang Shulin and Wang Xia served as judges, and Li Guisheng, Vice President (presiding over the work) of the School took charge of the competition.

After the preliminary selection and recommendation of the School, 17 young teachers in total took part in the teaching competition. The competition takes the principle of "strengthening moral education and cultivating people" as the foundation, "teaching a discipline well" as the concept, "experience making us grow up" as the theme, dedication as the guidance, improving basic teaching skills, strengthening capability training of young teachers, enhancing awareness of integrating ideological and political elements, and innovating ideological and political course teaching methods as the key points, and adopts the form of 18-20 minutes' lecture delivered by every competitor and correspondingly 5-10 minutes' comment made by judges. In the competition, competitors actively prepared the teaching content with their enthusiasm and professional attitude. The teaching contents were highly professional, and profound in content but simple in form, with wide referenced ranges, which comprehensively showed the spirit and elegant demeanor of young teachers in colleges and universities of the new era. The two groups of judges made detailed comments on the advantages and disadvantages of the competitors, and proposed pertinent suggestions in regard of their shortcomings, which made all competitors benefit a lot.

At last, the two groups of judges evaluated and scored various items, such as teaching content, teaching organization, language and teaching style, teaching characteristics, and selected competitors who won the first, second and third prizes respectively. Two competitors who won the first prize are Zhang Dongliang and Chen Chunguang. Four competitors who won the second prize are Wang Zhuo, Liu Yanan, Fan Jinchen and Hao Weiju. Seven competitors who won the third prize are Ding Zhiyi, Xiao Shuning, Wang Jingjing, Ma Xun, Kong Xiao, Cheng Ping, Yue Bingbing, Zhu Yuanzheng, Xin Yanmei, Me Congfei and Wang Ke.

The successful holding of the teaching competition provided a communication platform and performance stage for young teachers of our school, further stimulated the enthusiasm of young teachers of our school to teach earnestly, cherish posts and devote wholeheartedly to work, update educational concepts and master modern teaching methods, and laid a solid foundation for our school's cultivation of a high-quality and specialized group of teachers with noble characters, strong professional abilities, reasonable structure and abundant vitality.
