Symposium Scene
At the symposium, Xu Jie extended a warm welcome to the personnel from SMC and expressed gratitude to the School for its attention to the development of the alumni. He gave a detailed introduction to the company's general situation, development course and vision. From the perspective of material forming and control engineering, he shared his method of applying the specialized knowledge he learned to practical work, and his development experience of becoming the president of the company in China Zone from a R&D staff. He said he was very pleased with the vigorous development of his alma mater and the School. He showed gratitude to the alma mater for the high-quality talents it has sent to enterprises in recent years. He spoke highly of the graduates' professional skills and overall quality and looked forward to conducting diversified cooperation and exchanges with his alma mater.
Li Guisheng showed greetings and solicitude from the University and School to Xu Jie, hoping to strengthen emotional ties and deepen cooperation and exchanges by visiting alumni. He introduced the development history, scientific research teams, discipline construction and students of the University and School to the attendees. He stated that the School of Materials and Chemistry, in the process of talent training and scientific research, focuses on "indomitable spirit", and encourages all scientific research teams to pay close attention to the actual development of industrial enterprises based on the scientific research on key projects, and strive to find a joint point with market application, thus providing high-quality talents and advanced scientific payoffs for enterprises.
