The civil code is not only a code to protect their own rights and interests, but also a norm that all members of society must follow. In order to further guide teachers and students to form a conscious awareness of abiding by the law, form the habit of finding the law in case of trouble, and cultivate the awareness and ability to rely on law to solve problems, our college invited Associate Professor Wang Haibin of Marxism college to give special guidance on Civil Code for all teachers and students of the college.
  At the beginning of the lecture, Wang Haibin elaborated on the importance and structure of the compilation of the civil code, described the historical background and significance of the five starts of the civil law since the founding of new China, analyzed the reasons for the failure of the previous compilation, interpreted the hot points of each part of the civil code, and explained the intellectual property rights, residential rights, marriage law and inheritance rights in simple language The common cases in the law, such as vivid examples and clear thinking, are of great help to the following study, compliance, maintenance and application of the civil code. Wang Haibin said: the civil code is not only an encyclopedia of social life, but also a declaration of civil rights. It plays an important role in the socialist legal system with Chinese characteristics. I hope teachers and students can effectively enhance their thinking on the rule of law and enhance their ability to protect their rights according to law.
