On June 11, 2025, the School of Materials and Chemistry convened its 2024-2025 Academic Year Outstanding Class Teacher and Part-time Counselor Selection Meeting in Room 217 of the Materials Building. Attendees included School Party Secretary Cao Ying, Deputy Party Secretary Dong Xiaoliang, Director of Student Affairs Office Song Yiting, representatives from various departments, and others.
During the selection meeting, class teachers elaborated in-depth on their approaches and achievements in ideological and political education, class ethos development, and academic atmosphere cultivation. They showcased their dedication and professionalism through detailed data and touching photos. Part-time counselors shared their insights and experiences in student management and career guidance, demonstrating their commitment to students' holistic development.
School Party Secretary Cao Ying highly commended the hard work of the participating faculty members. She emphasized the need to continuously strengthen ideological and political education for students, maintain close attention to their physical and mental well-being, and provide comprehensive support for their growth and success. Deputy Party Secretary Dong Xiaoliang, in his remarks, put forward requirements, encouraging everyone to innovate working methods, deepen communication and interaction with students, and enhance the targeted effectiveness of educational efforts.
Through departmental recommendations, school-level oral defenses, and voting for excellence, our school selected the following faculty members: Wang Lei, Wang Zhuo, Zhang Dongliang, Xiao Shuning, Liu Hui, Liu Xinjuan, and Sun Hao as university-level outstanding class teachers; Zhang Xingguang, Xu Gaopeng, Shang Huan, and Wang Jingjing as school-level outstanding class teachers. Part-time counselor Wu Fanjing was awarded university-level outstanding part-time counselor. This selection meeting not only recognized outstanding individuals but also established a platform for experience exchange in collaborative education across the school, which will further inspire faculty members to actively engage in student education, management, and service work.
