On 15 September, the final of the 11th Shanghai New Materials Innovation and Creativity Competition for University Students and the ‘Xi Jia Cup’ Most Commercialisation Potential Competition were held at Shanghai Institute of Technology. From Fudan University, Tongji University, Shanghai University, Hefei University of Technology, Jiangnan University and other 22 colleges and universities in the Yangtze River Delta, a total of 175 projects to compete, the final evaluation to take offline exhibition, on-site evaluation, centralised scoring and other aspects of the final selection of the first prize of 21, the second prize of 36, the third prize of 53, the outstanding organisation award 7.
With the theme of ‘Material New Empowerment, Creative Development’, the competition aims to promote the application of advanced technology in the field of materials in new energy, ecological environment, biomedicine, electronic information, intelligent manufacturing and other cutting-edge fields through innovation and creativity, to realise the joint research of key scientific research projects, to solve the bottlenecks of disciplinary development, and to assist in the development of new quality productivity.
