In the afternoon of September 15, the Department of Energy and Environmental Materials held the first faculty meeting for the fall semester of 2023-2024 in the meeting room 210 of the Materials Building, which was presided over by Director Yang Guangzhi.

Yang Guangzhi firstly made a comprehensive summary of the work in the first half of the year, making a detailed summary from engineering certification, graduate employment, thesis, development of cultivation plan, major streaming, innovation competition, incentive program, mentoring system and other aspects. The mid-term assessment for engineering certification of science and engineering majors was successfully completed, the employment of graduates achieved the first good result in the whole university, the quality of the student source of major streaming was significantly improved, the innovation competition gained new breakthroughs, the cultivation objectives, graduation requirements and curriculum system in the cultivation plan were improved and perfected, and the policy of incentive plan was continuously improved.
