The Mid-Autumn Festival is an important traditional festival in China. The meaning and theme of the Festival is "reunion". Lanterns, as one of the traditional customs of Mid-Autumn Festival, are an ancient traditional handicraft and a symbol of "happiness and reunion". In order to fully explore the connotation of traditional festivals, carry forward the excellent traditional Chinese culture and stimulate the national emotion of students, on September 22nd, the psychological association of our college held a series of activities of "Inviting the Bright moon with lanterns" in the material building 210, organizing students to make lanterns together.
At the beginning of the activity, the members of the association distributed the lantern materials, and the students selected their favorite lantern styles. They pieced together the wooden structure frame patiently step by step according to the instructions, then glued the hot stamping paper in the material bag to the wooden structure frame, tied the knot, tied the tassel, and put the LED lamp inside the lantern. Turn on the LED lights, yizhanzhan delicate lanterns lit up in the hands of skilled craftsmen, the surface of the lanterns with a warm yellow gloss of hot stamping paper, placed everyone's good wishes.
The small lanterns convey not only the greetings of the festival, but also the inheritance and promotion of traditional culture. This activity allows students to truly feel the Mid-Autumn Festival atmosphere, experience the unique charm of traditional customs, but also provides a platform for students to communicate with each other, close the relationship between each other, for creating a harmonious, upward, positive campus cultural atmosphere to help add luster.
